Archery

This small Section was formed in the mid-1980s by, among others, Ken Harrison, Mick Swepson and Alan Wilkinson. An important role - the provision of tuition and training - was played by Bob and Angela Goulty. Depending on the weather, the Section used the Westfield Road Sports Ground and/or the Alma Road facilities where, in the winter months, the main dance hall was converted for the Section's use. The Archery Section continued for some time after the Baker Perkins Sports & Social Club closed, using facilities at the 'Fleet' club in Fletton and at Mitchells of Peterborough.
