Westwood Works 1903-2003 |
A long established Section that originally had four hard courts at Alma Road. One of these was lost in 1949 to make space for the additional outdoor bowling green. The Section had its own pavilion with changing facilities and lockers.
Teams competed in the Peterborough Inter-Works Tennis League, one in the First Division and two in the Second Division.
Section members competed for three Cups - The Braithwaite Cup for Men's Doubles; The A.R. Baker Cup for Men's Singles and the Green Cup for Mixed Doubles.
