If anyone has photos of the missing trophies, please get in touch.
It is thought that the Golf Section started in 1961 as the Westwood Works Golf
Club. The name was changed in later years to the Baker Perkins Golf Society
- probably to reflect the improving handicaps of the Members! The Society remained
active long after the Sports Club closed (see Closure),
finally disbanding in 2007.
